Dr. Patrasso is known for his tireless advocacy of mental health, victims of abuse, and the learning disabled. He has done many worthy volunteer projects with the Scottsdale Senior Center, Franciscan Renewal Center, Job Corps Training and Florence Crittenden, benefitting the disadvantaged across the spectrum.
Dr. Patrasso was honored with a Fellowship from the American College of Forensic Examiners. His article in the magazine, 'The Forensic Examiner', made a significant contribution to identifying students who were deemed threats to school violence.
Dr. Patrasso earned a Doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. He is a licensed psychologist in the state of Arizona and he is also certified as a school psychologist in the state of Arizona. He holds a teaching certificate in psychology from Rio Salado Community Colleges. With training in clinical, forensic and school psychology Dr. Patrasso is able to specialize in litigation support, and as an expert witness in high profile cases.
In addition to the radio show Dr. Patrasso is the author of two books. Because of his broad training, education and experience in the field of psychology, and his unique ability to communicate in common sense language, Dr. Patrasso is frequently called upon to give his expert opinion in speaking engagements and public forums. Dr. Patrasso provides unique opportunities to improve the lives of people through his outspoken work in human potential and personal well-being.
An enthusiastic walker and ardent swimmer Dr. Patrasso lives in Scottsdale, Arizona. Dr. Patrasso is an advocate of well-being for people from all walks of life.
